How to eliminate certain household odours.

The best way to eliminate odours is of course to prevent them from occuring in the first place. Invest in good, strong rubbish bags and don’t overfill them. Use a smaller rubbish bin in the kitchen can help because you will need to empty it more often. Stay on top of mildew in the bathroom by getting a shower spray bottle, fill it with a tablespoon of bleach mixed with water to spray down the walls of your shower after every use.

What should you use? and where should you use it? In the bathroom, grapefruit, lemon or orange cleaners tend to work really well, even real lemons can do a great job in breaking down the bacteria causing smells around the kitchen, bathroom or toilet, bath and shower etc. Bleach is still the best disinfectant in our opinion and most people associate things being really clean with the strong smell of chlorine. As stated previously using lemons to eliminate odours and clean the kitchen or orange based citric cleaners is a good idea, floral scent for the cigarette odour in your vehicle, for pet stains, urine, faeces, vomit and the like we recommend eco-friendly safe odour neutralisers.

These odour neutralisers work great on carpets, upholstery and curtains etc. But for general cleaning of spots and stains, try detergent free eco-friendly spot and stain removers, they work amazingly well on a very wide spectrum of spots and stains.
